Cordova man charged with intercourse offender registry violation

CORDOVA — The Richmond County Sheriff’s has charged a Cordova man with a intercourse offender registry violation after attending a cheer competitors at an area college.
Charles Rodruck Sargent, 56, was requested to go away the varsity and was knowledgeable by deputies that he had not obtained prior authorization to be on college property.
Sargent was processed into the Richmond County Jail beneath a $25,000 safe bond.
In line with the North Carolina Division of Public Security, Sargent was convicted of misdemeanor sexual battery in 2010.
