Rep. Moss withdraws from Labor race, recommits to NC Home re-election

RALEIGH — On Wednesday, state Consultant Ben Moss (R – Richmond, Moore) shared his intentions for the upcoming 2024 election:
“After a lot prayer and deliberation with my household, I’ve determined to withdraw my candidacy for Labor Commissioner and recommit myself to working for re-election within the NC Home,” stated Moss, “I’ve received a daughter going off to varsity and a son in center faculty — my time is greatest spent specializing in being current with my household and persevering with my service to the individuals of Home District 52. There’s extra coverage work to be achieved within the Basic Meeting, and I intend to be part of the method as my freedom caucus colleagues and I form the way forward for management within the NC Home.”
Rep. Ben Moss is at the moment in his 2nd time period within the NC Home of Representatives, serving as Chairman of the Committee on Wildlife Assets and Vice Chairman of the Freedom Caucus.
